“This is one of our best collaborative efforts yet” stated co-coordinator, Johanna Mathieson-Ellmer. Billy Kupfermann and the Long Beach Surfers Association were looking to sponsor a family movie night on the beach for their members and loved the idea of partnering with like-minded local organizations to extend the event to the whole City of Long Beach community. Collaborators and supporters include: The City of Long Beach Departments of Recreation and Parks and Youth and Family Services, Long Beach Public Library, Long Beach Surfers Association, Korduroy.tv, Artists in Partnership, Inc., the Long Beach International Film Festival, Legislator Denise Ford, and the Long Island Motion Picture Museum and Arts Center.
