Annual Town Hall Meeting sponsored by Long Beach Medical Center's Coalition to Prevent Underage Drinking.
The keynote speaker, Dr. David Jernigan, has an international reputation for his expertise and research on the impact of alcohol advertisements on today's youth; and he will offer evidenced-based tactics the community can employ to inhibit its influence. In addition to his vast knowledge, he happens to be a very entertaining speaker, as well.
In addition to his presentation, the Coalition will present the findings of the recently completed 2011 Long Beach Student Survey on alcohol and drug use. It's important for the community to hear this report, as well.
