Lecture: An American Spy Before the CIA

The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was the country’s go to for spy activity before the CIA ever existed. Hal Leith, who worked in the OSS, parachuted into Soviet Manchuria after WWII to spy with a team of five men.

Bill Streifer, author of “OSS in Manchuria: Operation Cardinal,” will take guests on a journey through Leith’s expedition.
