Every Thursday from July 7 through Aug. 11, the Friedberg JCC in Oceanside invites guests to “Sail” Down the Danube with Kehila Kedosha Janina Synagogue and Museum Director Marcia Haddad Ikonopolous. The Danube is the longest river in Europe. Participants will explore the Jewish life and culture that has lived along the river's shores in countries including Germany, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Bosnia and more in this lecture series.
