The Long Beach Parks & Recreation department is showcasing its Spring programs at The Long Beach Recreation Field Day this Saturday, April 14th after the Little League T-Ball Clinic. (rain date April 21 after Little League Parade). All children are welcome to come and enjoy a day of fun and find out about the Spring sports offerings.
The Recreation department has organized four clinics to introduce everyone to all of the children's activities we will be offering this spring. There is no fee to participate and there will be giveaways and prizes for all participants. Among these offerings are: Boys and Girls Fitness Club (ages 5–13 years old), Boys and Girls Lacrosse (ages 5-9 years old), and Co-Ed BeachTennis (ages 10–17 years old).
There will be an opportunity to try each of these sports at 30 minute stations. Interested participants are asked to meet at the Recreation Turf field by 2:00pm to have a chance to participate in each clinic. Children's activities such as a bounce house and arts and crafts will also be available.

Of course, siblings are invited to try out the activities even if they don’t make the ages yet and we will have a Bounce House and Arts & Crafts to entertain them also.
In addition, there will be an opportunity for kids to try the Ice Arena’s learn to skate program for free at the Ice Arena on both Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am to noon. We think there is something there for all!!
