The Friedberg JCC will hold a workshop entitled "Modzits Melodies: Music from the Chasidic Masters" on Jun. 23 starting at 10:30 p.m. at the Oceanside facility.
This workshop will give participants a chance to hear and sample a wide range of Modzizter nigunim and international Jewish music. Ira Epstein, who has been a professor and chairperson at LaGuardia College's Department of Communication Skills and assistant professor at the School of Education at Brooklyn College, will be leading the workshop and lecture.
