The Long Beach Surfer Association and Earth Arts of Long Beach are hosting a free event at Kennedy Plaza on Sunday July 8 2012, from 9am-1pm.
As part of Surf Week to be held in the city of Long Beach from July7th -14th, The Long Beach Surfer's Association,, together with Earth Arts would like to invite artists of all levels to participate in a sidewalk chalk-art surf inspired contest. Artists will create surf and beach inspired artwork directly on the concrete in the plaza. Anyone is welcome to participate. ALL AGES ENCOURAGED! IT IS FREE!!!
Particpants will be provided with basic sidewalk chalk and sidewalk paint. You may also bring your own chalk! Sign up is at Earth Arts 162 West Park Ave. Long Beach, New York. If space is available sign up will also be available the morning of the event at Kennedy Plaza.
