The event is "Spring Surf Day in Long Beach" and as mentioned, it's being held this Saturday at National Boulevard.
The event includes: The Atlantic Surfing Federation Surf Contest, with competitors coming from all over the east coast The LBSA, LBHS Surf Team and Surfrider Foundation Beach Cleanup Board Swap on the Boardwalk - Surfers bringing out there used and classic surfboard to buy, sell and trade amongst each other Surf Clinics - Surf2Live and Skudin Surf are both running free clinics and lessons on Edwards and Magnolia, respectively and Surfers for the Hungry Food Drive to benefit the local food pantry here in Long Beach, The Food and Friendship Inn
All the events are open to everyone, and we encourage all to come by with canned goods and non-perishables for the food pantry and enjoy the day on the boardwalk and beach with us!
