Tie Dye and Batik Boot Camp

Start with a blank piece of fabric, twist it, pleat it, tie it.  Add some color and you have a tie dye!

Now start with a blank piece of fabric and draw with wax. Dip it once, dip it twice, as many dips as you like. 

This five day camp introduces the student to dye stuff, methods of putting dye on fabric and using wax or thread as a resist to make a pattern on fabric.

Five days with a new project each day!  Sarongs, aprons, bandanas, t shirts or banners, we can make it our own by adding creativity.

Textile designer, educator and artist, Elizabeth Connolly, will run this camp and get you started making your own one of a kind fabrics.
