On Sunday Joanna Asher is teaching a yoga class on Franklin Beach (weather permitting) to help Art Sorenson and Alex Hamlet raise money for their New York City marathon charities.
Art is running with the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) PowerTeam in memory of his dad, Bob Sorenson of Oceanside who passed away on April 7, 2009.
Alex will be running with Memorial Sloan- Kettering Fred’s team in honor of her mom, Cindy Hamlet, who battled cancer.
Suggested donation of $20 (a donation of any size will make a difference!)
The NYC marathon will be Sunday November 6th!
