ATLANTIC BEACH, NY — Assemblywoman Melissa Miller is stepping down but she isn't leaving the political arena.

Due to family obligations, she is exiting her role in Albany. However, Miller will fill the slot in the Town of Hempstead council, left open when Bruce Blakeman became Nassau County Executive.
