LI Teens Rescued After Being Stranded On Their Jet Skis
Police say the two teens became stuck in the marsh of Parsonage Cove Sunday evening and required rescue.
Two teens were rescued Sunday evening after their jet skis became stuck in the marshes south of Oceanside.
According to police, two 17-year-old boys were stranded near Parsonage Cove just after 7:15 p.m. Sunday. Emergency Services, the NCPD Marine Bureau, Nassau County Aviation, the Oceanside Fire Department and Nassau County police all responded to the call.
One of the teens was closer to shore and was rescued by another boater before police arrived. The other, who was further into the marsh, was rescued by a Nassau County Helicopter and transported back to shore.

Neither of the teens were injured.
