Update: No Students Aboard Bus Involved in Lido Beach Crash
Head-on crash occurred Monday evening.

No students were aboard a mini school bus when it collided with an SUV in Lido Beach Monday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.
At 5:25 p.m., the two vehicles crashed in the eastbound lanes of Lido Boulevard near Malibu Beach Club, cops said.

One person sustained a leg injury in the crash, police said. No other injuries were reported.
The accident prompted officials to close the eastbound lanes of Lido Boulevard near the crash site as crews secured the scene. Lido Boulevard was reopened later Monday evening.
