Lois Jankeloff Joins Hauppauge Schools
Hauppauge School District Appoints Long Beach Resident as Director of Pupil Personnel
The Board of Education of Hauppauge School District is pleased to announce the appointment of Long Beach resident Lois Jankeloff as director of Pupil Personnel. “Lois is a student-centered, energetic and compassionate educator with a rich and deep experience base,” stated Superintendent of Schools Dr. Dennis O’Hara. “We feel most fortunate to have discovered Lois, and we thank the Board of Education and the interview committee members for their effort and participation in this important process.”
Jankeloff previously served as director of Pupil Personnel Services for the West Hempstead Union Free School District, and prior to that was a Special Education coordinator for Long Beach School District. She received both a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master of Arts Degree from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and a Post-Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Stony Brook University of SUNY.
Jankeloff is a member of the Long Island Association of Special Education Administrators, School Administrators of New York State, American Speech/Language-Hearing Association and New York State Speech/Language-Hearing Association.
