Long Beach Among 100 School Districts With Best Teachers in NY

Do you think your school district's teachers are the best?

Niche.com recently released its 2016 list of public school districts with the best teachers throughout New York, and many schools you’ll recognize received high ranks.

There were a total of 43 Long Island school districts that made the list.

Data was obtained from U.S. Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics and Civil Rights Data Collection. Self-reported surveys were also collected by Niche.com.

Some of the factors that went into choosing the best teachers included: academic performance of a school, an index of teacher salaries, student-teacher ratio, as well as student and parent reviews.
