Long Beach Announces New Road Repaving Schedule
The roads will be temporarily closed while work is being done. Find out where the city will be paving and when.

The City of Long Beach announced plans to repave three roads this autumn, which will cause brief traffic problems while work is being done.
Each road is planned to take three days to mill and repave. According to the city, milling and repaving the roads can add 10 to 15 years to the road's lifespan.

- Site 1: West Beech Street, between Tennessee and Nevada avenues. Nov. 1-3.
- Site 2: East Chester Street, between Neptune and Curley. Nov. 8-10.
- Site 3: East Broadway, from Maple to Pacific Boulevard. Nov. 29, 30 and Dec. 1.
According to the city, when the roads are being worked on, they may be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be no parking in the area during the construction. The city will give 72 hours notice before closures or parking restrictions are implemented.
