Find out what streets you should try to avoid this week.

The City of Long Beach has announced its planned schedule for road work for the week of March 6, letting residents know what areas they should avoid for the week to stay out of traffic snarls.
First up, the city's DPW will be installing two new fire hydrants on the 200 block of West Bay Drive. The city says it will not only improve fire protection, but will also allow for better flushing to improve water quality.
The street maintenance crew will be out repairing patches on Illinois, Maryland, Ohio and Tennessee avenues, as well as the 600 block of West Hudson Street.
