Long Beach Expands Bicycle Hours On Boardwalk
Bicyclists are no longer limited to only using the boardwalk in the morning, but social distancing restrictions remain.

LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach has expanded the hours that bicyclists will be allowed on the boardwalk.
City Manager Donna Gayden signed an executive order today that restricts the use of bicycles on the boardwalk from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Previously, bicycles were only allowed on the boardwalk from sunrise until 10 a.m.
The new order will allow bicyclists on the boardwalk in the evening and night, as well as in the morning.
