Long Beach Hosts Food Drive With Island Harvest

Items can be dropped off at the Long Beach City Clerk's office until March 8.

LONG BEACH, NY — The City of Long Beach is participating in a food drive in conjunction with Island Harvest.

The city is accepting donations through Wednesday, March 8.

Among the items requested include:

  • canned vegetables
  • meats
  • fish
  • fruits
  • soups
  • sauces
  • pasta
  • cereals
  • dry milk
  • coffee/tea
  • almond/soy milk

They also will accept spices, baby formula, personal care and personal hygiene items.

Donations can be dropped off at the City Clerk's office on the third floor of City Hall.
