Long Beach March To Remember MLK On His Birthday

The commemorative march will conclude at the MLK Center.

LONG BEACH, NY — In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, Long Beach residents are invited to participate in a commemorative march.

It takes place 0n Monday, Jan. 16, when the country pays tribute to the iconic civil rights leader.

The march is scheduled to start at Laurelton Boulevard and West Park Avenue. It fittingly culminates at the Martin Luther King Center on Riverside Boulevard.

The City of Long Beach says all are welcome to attend the 11:30 a.m. march that is just about a mile long.
