Long Beach Police Report: Man Accused of Trying to Flee Police

Long Beach Police reported the following arrests for the week of June 20:

• Erick A. Donis, 30, of Queens Village was arrested on June 20 on Long Beach Boulevard and E. Pine Street and charged with two active New York City bench warrants.
• Nikel A. Pagan-Velez, 22, of Pennsylvania was arrested on June 20 in Garden City for criminal possession of stolen property, identity theft, petty larceny, an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant, Nassau County probation warrant and a Nassau County District bench warrant.
• Maverick A. Ibanez, 26, of Long Beach was arrested on June 25 on W. Beech Street for an active Long Beach City Court bench warrant and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• Lenny Nicolas Taveras, 23, of Baldwin was arrested on June 26 on E. Park Avenue and Maple Boulevard for unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle.
