LONG BEACH, NY — Amateur shutterbugs can take a photo for the official 2022 city of Long Beach calendar.

The deadline for submissions is the end of October.

Horizontal-angled photos should depict Long Beach in an unusual way but include the ocean, bay, and beachfront. They should also focus on summer, winter, spring or fall, the city of Long Beach posted on its Facebook page.

Themes sought include:

  • What makes Long Beach the best place to live, work or play?
  • Why do you love Long Beach?
  • What is your favorite Long Beach event?
  • What is the season to experience in Long Beach?

All photos should include the photographer's name and the month/season it was taken.

Twelve photos will be selected to represent each month in the calendar. Entrants might also be part of smaller photos to fill out the calendar.

All high-resolution photos must be submitted by Oct. 31 to lbevents@longbeachny.gov
