Long Beach Synagogue Celebrates Black History Month

The special Shabbat service is scheduled for Feb. 17.

LONG BEACH, NY — In celebration of Black History Month, Temple Emanu-El of Long Beach is holding a special diversity Shabbat service.

On Feb. 17, the synagogue is hosting its 7th annual Gospel Shabbat.

The entire community is invited to see the Nehemiah Movement, a Hempstead-based a capella group led by Runnie Myles.
