Long Beach Synagogue Holds Rally In Wake Of Stolen Torahs
The Chabad of the Beaches rabbi will lead a parade on Monday evening to celebrate the restoration of the ark.

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach synagogue is moving forward after religious items were stolen.
Chabad of the Beaches Rabbi Eli Goodman will lead other religious and community leaders for a parade Monday evening to usher the remaining Torah scrolls back to the restored ark.
Two of the synagogue's Torahs have not been located since the crime was reported on August 22, Goodman said.

A GoFundMe page has received more than $17,000 in donations to upgrade security.
Goodman is also committed to writing a new Torah.

The rally is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Chabad of the Beaches.
