Long Beach Tax Bills Were Mailed Out With Typo

The City of Long Beach says that tax bills that were recently sent out to residents had an incorrect due date, so residents now have an extra day to pay their taxes.

According to the city, the state and county tax bills that were sent out say that payments need to be made by Monday, Feb. 12. However, City Hall is closed that day in observance of Lincoln's Birthday. So payments will be accepted until Tuesday, Feb. 13.

So enjoy one more day with your hard-earned money before forking it over to taxes.
