Long Beach To Vote Today On Allowing Alcohol Sale On Boardwalk
The City Council is considering a resolution to allow concessions stands to serve alcohol. What do you think?

The Long Beach City Council is planning to vote Tuesday on a resolution that would allow concession stands on the boardwalk to serve alcohol.
Newsday reports that the city is considering a resolution would would allow the four concessions stands to apply for a state liquor license, and then apply to have their lease changed by the city. Alcohol would not be allowed to be sold on the beach or outside of the concession stands.
The city leased four new concession stands to businesses last year to sell food on the boardwalk, Newsday says. So far, two of them have asked to be able to serve alcohol.
