Man Charged With Two Counts Of Assault: Long Beach Police

LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Police Department reported the following arrests for the week ending Oct. 6. All charges are merely accusations.
- Michael A. Graham, 56, of Long Beach, was arrested on Oct. 2 on JJ Evans Boulevard and charged with harassment with physical contact and unlawful possession of marijuana.
- Harold L. Chestnut, 61, of Long Beach, was arrested at police headquarters on Oct. 4 and charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree robbery aided by another and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
- Steven K. Shaughnessy, 37, of Miller Place, was arrested on Oct. 4 on West Beech Street and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and two counts of assault.
