Long Beach Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges: Police

Police say they recovered many different drugs from his home after his arrest.

Members of the Freeport Police Department and the Long Island Heroin Task Force worked together to arrest a Long Beach man on multiple drug charges Monday afternoon, police said.

According to police, the Freeport Police Department and the Long Island Heroin Task Force had been investigating 46-year-old Lamb Beckerman, who was found on Shore Road in Long Beach at 2 p.m. on Monday and placed under arrest for outstanding charges.

Police say that, after his arrest, officers searched Beckerman's home on East Broadway and recovered cocaine, black opium, psilocybin, concentrated cannabis, LSD and an undetermined amount of cash.

Bekcerman is charged with eight counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and 14 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned on Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
