Nassau Restaurant Called A 'Magical Place' To Eat

If you're looking for "one of the most magical places you’ll ever eat," you might want to check out Pop's Seafood Shack and Grill in Island Park.

Onlyinyourstate.com recently gushed about the local eatery, loving its many dining options and beach-like outdoor seating. The multitude of outdoor and indoor dining options are amazing, the site says, as well as the small village-like setting that was created outside.

Though it's only been open for a few years, Pop's has quickly become a staple in the Island Park community and one of the most popular places to go in the area. It's only open from May through September, so make sure you go while you can.

Pop's is located at 15 Railroad Place in Island Park. It's just a short walk from the Island Park LIRR station (which is on the Long Beach Branch). Or, if you'd prefer, you can sail to the restaurant and dock at one of its free slips.
