Nassau Woman Dies From Injuries Sustained in Staten Island Car Crash
BREAKING: The woman was in the hospital for days before dying following an accident last Monday.

A Long Beach woman has succumbed to injuries she received in a car crash on Staten Island last Monday.
According to the New York Police Department, two cars were involved in an accident at the intersection of Westcott Boulevard and Crowell Avenue at 10:15 a.m. on Staten Island. Police said that a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon, driven by a 61-year-old woman, was driving west on Westcott Boulevard and Crowell Avenue when it was hit by a 2013 Honda Civic, being driven by Melodee Gabler, 61, of Long Beach.
The driver of the first car refused medical attention. Gabler was taken to Richmond University Medical Center where she died on Saturday.

No arrests were made. The incident is still being investigated by the NYPD.
