New Gym Opens in Oceanside
The gym offers state-of-the-art equipment and affordable memberships.

Retro Fitness opened its newest Long Island location at 3465 Lawson Boulevard in Oceanside.
“We opened Retro Fitness to provide the community with a facility that will help them achieve their health and fitness goals at a fraction of the cost, but without skimping on the necessities needed for a good workout,” said Bruce Dansky, owner of the new Retro Fitness in Oceanside. “Retro Fitness offers a clean and welcoming environment for every member to achieve success without feeling intimidated or overwhelmed—no matter their fitness level.”
The 15,000 square-foot facility offers a variety of calorie-burning group fitness classes, such as spin, Zumba, kickboxing, yoga and more. The facility also includes the latest in circuit and weight training equipment, certified personal trainers and cardio machines with personal flat-screen TVs & iPod hook ups. The gym is equipped with full-service locker rooms, a supervised children’s playroom, a full-service pro-shop and a Retro Blends Smoothie Bar. Plus, members can watch movies during their workout in the popular Retro Cardio Theater.

“Our goal is to provide the community with a gym experience unlike anywhere else – we’re a fun place to work out, we’re friendly, and we’re affordable,” Dansky added.
Retro Fitness of Oceanside will be open Monday through Thursday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Memberships start at $19.99.
