'No Doubt' Flipping LI Congressional Seat Republican: D'Esposito
The Town of Hempstead councilman is looking to succeed retiring Congresswoman Kathleen Rice.

ISLAND PARK, NY — While the count is up to six for Democrats facing a primary on the road to Congress, it is a smaller group of Republican challengers.
Town of Hempstead Councilman Anthony D'Esposito is in the running to replace Kathleen Rice in the House. The four-time representative announced she won't seek another term in the 4th Congressional District.
"I have no doubt that come Election Day, New York 4 is going to be flipped from blue to red," D'Esposito, a guest on Tuesday's "Patch AM," said.
