Police: Graffiti at Nickerson Beach, Drug Possession Charges in Long Beach

Long Beach and Nassau County Police Departments reported the following information. Charges are merely accusations and do not imply guilt.

Incidents

• Nov. 5: Nickerson Beach, Lido Beach; multiple ramps spray painted with blue paint.
• Nov. 6: Truxton Road, Island Park; all four tires slashed on parked car overnight.
• Nov. 10: Warwick Road, Island Park; car keyed while parked.

Charges

• Nov. 9: Kevin Larsen, 21, of Long Beach, charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
• Nov. 10: Dontae Rodgers, 21, of Long Beach, charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
• Nov. 13: Donette Drakes, 42, of Springfield Gardens, charged with four counts of petit larceny and four counts of possession of stolen property.
• Nov. 14: Steven Vooris, 37, of Long Beach, charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third decree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
