Public Asked To Help Identify Non-Verbal Woman Seen In Long Beach

LONG BEACH, NY — Police need help identifying who was located recently in Long Beach.

The woman, who is believed to be between 70 and 80 years old, has an altered mental status and is non-verbal, according to police.

She was seen on the afternoon of Sunday, June 4 near East Broadway and Lincoln Boulevard without any identification on her. Police say she may have suffered a medical episode.

While not confirmed, the woman may go by the name Mary or Tricia. She remains at an area hospital.

Long Beach police have been in contact with Nassau County police. The public is asked to connect with Long Beach detectives, who are trying to reunite the woman with potential family members.
