Rice Defeats Blakeman to Win House Seat
Current Nassau district attorney is headed to Congress.

Democrat Kathleen Rice has been elected to the U.S. House of Representatives.
Rice, currently Nassau County’s district attorney, garnered 85,294 votes to Republican Bruce Blakeman’s 76,515 with all votes counted in the 4th Congressional District race, according to unofficial results from the Nassau County Board of Elections.
