Dean Skelos has been re-elected to represent the New York State Senate’s 9th District.
Skelos, a Republican, defeated Patrick Gillespie, Jr. 47,906-24,837 with 65.83 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results from the Nassau Board of Elections.
