Slow Going On East Park Avenue This Weekend
Work repairing a collapsed underground sewer main will close all but one eastbound lane of the road, police say.
There will be major delays on East Park Avenue this weekend as workers repair a sewer main in Long Beach.
The police department notified residents that delays are expected on the road all weekend due to an underground sewer collapse at the intersection of East Park Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard. Only one eastbound lane will be open.
The police department suggests those heading to the East End take an alternate route.
