South Nassau Welcomes The First Baby Of The New Decade

Bernard Casey Hall Nichols was born just after midnight on Jan. 1, making him the hospital's first baby of the new decade.

Mount Sinai South Nassau hospital was happy to welcome the first newborn of the decade yesterday, when Bernard Casey Hall Nichols came into the world just after midnight.

Bernard was born at 12:03 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2020 to proud parents Bernard Nichols and Tami Hall of Valley Stream.

Baby Nichols was a healthy 7 pounds, 15 ounces at birth, and 20.5 inches long.
