Suspect In Custody After Island Park, Valley Stream Incidents, NCPD Homicide Squad Says
The NCPD homicide squad reported suspect was in custody Friday amid the investigation of two incidents in Island Park and Valley Stream.
NASSAU COUNTY, NY — The Nassau County Police Department's homicide squad reported that a suspect was in police custody Friday after a pair of incidents — one in Island Park and the other in Valley Stream — that had taken place Thursday and Friday.
Police did not identify the individual Friday, but said that investigations into the incidents were ongoing. The individual in custody, police said, was involved in both incidents. Police also didn't detail any charges or information about potential victims Friday.
