These Long Beach Restaurants Had Critical Health Code Violations in 2016

Several Long Beach restaurants have received health code violations by the New York State Department of Health in 2016.
There were a total of two local eating establishments that received one critical health code violation each.

foodborne illness and usually involve the food source and condition, food cooking and storage temperatures, sanitary practices of food workers, water and sewage, pest contamination of food and the use of toxic materials.
"Non-critical” violations do not directly cause food-borne illness but could negatively affect the operation of the restaurant. They relate to the design and maintenance of the establishment as well as cleanliness.

F & M Deli, on 148 East Park Avenue, received a critical violation for cooked or prepared foods being subjected to cross-contamination from raw foods.
They also received five non critical violations.
The other eating establishment to receive a critical violation was the Allegria Hotel and Spa on 80 West Broadway. They received a critical violation for having food from unapproved source, spoiled, adulterated on premise.
In addition, they had 11 non critical violations.
