A family member has identified the 35-year-old Far Rockaway man who is in critical condition after his bicycle collided with a van in Lido Beach last week as Curtis Hoxter.

Last Wednesday, Hoxter was riding west on the north side of Lido Boulevard when his bike struck the passenger side of a van that was making a left turn into the driveway of Lido Golf Club at about 4:28 p.m.

He is currently at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow undergoing surgery.

His brother, Jorge told Patch that Hoxter is still in critical but stable condition as of Tuesday. His vitals are good, but the injury to his head is "still not looking good" and he has still not been able to speak, according to Jorge.
