This Week In Long Beach: Criminal Tampering, DWI, Unlicensed Driving, Police Say
The Long Beach Police Department released its weekly crime log Wednesday.

LONG BEACH, NY. — The Long Beach Police Department released its weekly crime report for the week from Mar. 4 to Mar. 11 Wednesday, detailing six arrests made by LBPD within city limits.
The items reported are as follows:
On Thursday, Mar. 5, 65-year-old East Rockaway resident Thomas Birmingham was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal tampering, police said. Court documents show Birmingham has pleaded not guilty to the tampering charge, and has another court date scheduled for Apr. 9. New York state code defines third-degree criminal tampering as tampering, "with property of another person with intent to cause substantial inconvenience to such person or to a third person.”

On Friday, Mar. 6, 34-year-old Long Beach resident Kyle Savage was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny in the amount of over $1,000, police said.
On Friday, Mar. 6, 47-year-old Long Beach resident Travis Curry was arrested and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, an equipment violation, driving with an obstructed view and driving without a license, police said. Court documents show Curry has pleaded not guilty to all charges and is due back in court Apr. 29.

On Saturday, Mar. 7, 30-year-old East Rockaway resident Stephanie Karla Saenz was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, driving with a suspended registration, driving without insurance and driving without a license, police said. Court documents show Saenz has pleaded not guilty to all counts and is due back in court Apr. 16.
On Monday, Mar. 9, 37-year-old Long Beach resident Danny Vooris was arrested in execution of a pair of open warrants, police said.
On Tuesday, Mar. 10, 37-year-old Long Beach resident Joseph Patterson was arrested and charged with a DWI, alcohol-cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, police said. Court documents show Patterson has pleaded not guilty to all three counts and is due back in court Apr. 22.
