The Long Beach Police Department released its weekly report Wednesday detailing arrests made within city limits.
LONG BEACH, NY — The Long Beach Police Department released its weekly report Wednesday detailing arrests made within the city limits over the prior seven days. The items listed in the report are as follows:
On April 15, 38-year-old Long Beach resident Steven Nevins was arrested and charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. Court documents list methamphetamine as the substance to which the charge pertains, and indicate that he has pleaded not guilty to the charge. Nevins is due back in court May 21, court documents show.
On April 16, 60-year-old Island Park resident Albert Garfield was arrested and charged with five traffic violations, including failure to stop at a stop sign, driving without a license and using a leased or rented vehicle without an interlock device, police said. Court documents show that Garfield has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

On April 17, 51-year-old Island Park resident Paul Marrero was arrested and charged with two counts of petit larceny, police said. Court documents show Marrero has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is due back in court on May 21.
On April 18, 29-year-old Rockville Centre resident Ishmael Harris was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon — to wit a loaded firearm — as well as first-degree reckless endangerment, police said. Court documents show Harris has pleaded not guilty to both charges and is due back in court June 5.

On April 27, 26-year-old Jamaica, Queens resident Wilmer Cubur Felipe was arrested and charged with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 of 1 percent or higher, and aggravated DWI per se with a blood alcohol content of .18 of 1 percent or higher, police said. Court documents show Felipe pleaded not guilty to all three charges and is due back in court May 22.
On April 29, 51-year-old Island Park resident Paul Marrero was arrested and charged with petit larceny and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. Court documents show Marrero pleading not guilty to both charges with a court appearance scheduled for May 21, and list crack as the substance to which the possession charge pertains.
