Woman Becomes Trapped Between Train, Platform At Long Beach LIRR
The woman received only minor injuries and was quickly removed by emergency responders.

A woman became trapped between the train and the platform at the Long Beach Long Island Railroad station early Sunday morning.
According to the Long Beach Fire Department, the woman slipped between the platform and train around 12:20 a.m. The fire department responded to the scene and helped to remove the woman.
The train wasn't moving when the woman fell. She was rescued with only minor injuries. Paramedics treated her at the scene for her injuries, and then took her to South Nassau Communities Hospital for evaluation.

The situation was quickly resolved — the MTA said the train was only delayed 11 minutes.
