QUEENS, NY — Entrepreneurs, small business owners, corporate leaders, nonprofits and economic development organizations from across New York City, Long Island and beyond are expected to gather for the National Entrepreneur Summit and Expo “New York Edition” on June 11.
The event is scheduled for 3 to 8 p.m. at the Rochdale Village Ballroom in Queens.
Organizers said the summit is designed to connect local, regional and national business leaders while creating opportunities for growth, collaboration, procurement, innovation and long-term economic development.
The event will bring together emerging entrepreneurs, established businesses, corporate partners, chambers of commerce, government agencies, community organizations and industry leaders, organizers said.
“The National Entrepreneur Summit and Expo — New York Edition is more than an event; it is a catalyst for opportunity, collaboration, and economic empowerment,” said Rose Ward, owner of NFocus Management Group, LLC. “This Expo creates a powerful space where entrepreneurs, corporations, nonprofits, and community leaders can come together to build meaningful relationships that strengthen businesses locally, regionally, and nationally.”
Ward said organizers are excited to help connect “innovators and changemakers” from New York City, Long Island and beyond.
Phil Andrews, founding president of The New York City Minority Small Business Chamber of Commerce, Inc., said small businesses remain central to the economy.
“Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and the National Small Business Expo — New York Edition is designed to open doors, create access, and expand opportunities for entrepreneurs across diverse industries,” Andrews said.
Andrews said the event is meant to create an environment where strategic partnerships, economic growth, supplier diversity and innovation can thrive.
“By bringing together businesses from New York City, Long Island, and national markets, we are creating an environment where strategic partnerships, economic growth, supplier diversity, and innovation can thrive,” Andrews said. “This Expo represents the future of collaborative business development.”
Attendees can expect business networking opportunities, panel discussions, keynote presentations, access to corporate and government resources, small business growth strategies, vendor and exhibitor showcases, sponsorship opportunities and connections with entrepreneurs, investors and decision-makers, organizers said.
The expo will also highlight minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned and small businesses, organizers said.
“This Expo is about creating real connections that move businesses forward,” organizers said. “We are bringing together entrepreneurs and leaders from New York City, Long Island, and across the country to build relationships, create opportunities, and strengthen the small business ecosystem on a regional and national level.”
The event is expected to draw attendees from industries including finance, technology, healthcare, professional services, retail, construction, media, education, government contracting, nonprofit leadership and community development.
Business owners, exhibitors, sponsors, community leaders and attendees are encouraged to register early.
