PORT WASHINGTON, NY — After spending eight years with one family, Casablanca is looking for a second chance at a forever home after her owners moved out of the country without her.
The 13-year-old cat is now slowly settling into life at North Shore Animal League America's Port Washington campus, where staff says they hope someone will open their heart to the gentle senior feline.
Although shy when meeting new people, Casablanca quickly warms up with a little patience and kindness. Once she feels comfortable, her affectionate personality comes through.
With her striking green eyes and calm demeanor, Casablanca is hoping to spend her golden years in a loving home once again
Casablanca put her trust into a family, and now she is asking for someone to put their trust into her.
