LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — A man was slashed in the face in the Lower East Side over the weekend, police said.
The incident happened outside a deli near 1st Avenue and 1st Street around 2:20 p.m.
Officers at the scene found a 38-year-old man with a slash wound to the face. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene after the attack.
No arrests have been made, and an investigation remains ongoing.
