Same Man Robs Two Chinatown Banks: NYPD
Police are looking for the robber who knocked off two Chinatown Chase Banks in the past three weeks.

CHINATOWN, NY — A man who was last seen sporting a "Klondike hat" is wanted by the NYPD for stealing a total of $4,000 in cash from two Chinatown banks in the past three weeks, police told Patch.
The thief (pictured above) recently visited the Chase Bank at 2 Bowery St. at around 1:51 p.m. Jan. 12. He passed a note demanding money to the bank teller, and then fled the location with $1,000 in cash, police said.
Three weeks earlier on Dec. 28, the same bandit knocked off another Chase Bank at 180 Canal St., police said. The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding cash, and made out with $3,000 in cash, police told Patch. The man then fled the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male, approximately 25-30 years old. Police believe he stands at 5-foot-10 and weighs about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, black Klondike hat, dark jacket, black Adidas pants and tan boots.
