Will Ferrell Themed Bar to Close on Lower East Side
Stay Classy New York's last night will be Dec. 31.

LOWER EAST SIDE, NY — The Will Ferrell character themed bar Stay Classy New York will close this week, according to the bar's Facebook page. Stay Classy is a pop-up bar that's been on the Lower East Side since October 2015. The owners plan to open more Ferrell-themed bars in Boston, Philadelphia and Miami.
Stay Classy NYC is closed from Dec. 23-30. It'll reopen for a farewell party on Dec. 30-31.
Ferrell fanatics loved the fan art, Ferrell-themed games, and cocktails such as "Milk was a bad choice" and "Glass case of emotion." The bar often hosted Ferrell trivia and Ferrell-themed parties.

Neil explained the bar to WPIX when it first opened: "This bar is kind of like the place where a 35-or 40-year-old person could come and sit and not be intimidated by loud techno music but still be surrounded by things that are funny and ridiculous and kinda get it," he said. "That’s what Will Ferrell has always meant to us."
