Pair Of $1M Lottery Tickets Sold At Single Long Island Store

WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — Two Mega Millions tickets worth $1 million were sold at a West Hempstead store, the state lottery said.

The second-prize winners are from the Nov. 1 drawing, a each ticket was sold at Bolla 820 Hempstead C-Store on Hempstead Ave. Five other people across the country won the $1 million prize.

Mega Millions numbers are drawn every Tuesday and Friday night.

With no winner of the top prize, the payout rolls over to $119 million. However, the Powerball is in the stratosphere, with the Nov. 2 jackpot at $1.2 billion.
